Your first page
In this section an example page will be drawn to learn the basic skills of Stamp Album Studio quickly, like positioning stamps on the page, adding labels and pictures to stamps and positioning titles and page numbers.
Using the Layout Wizard is often the fastest and easiest way to design your page. The Layout Wizards handles the automatic positioning and aligning of the stamps. The only thing you have to do is to enter the sizes and number of stamps. So you will be relieved of the annoying and time consuming job of aligning the stamps.
However, as a user of Stamp Album Studio you will always be in control of the final position of the stamps. On the one hand you can instruct the Layout Wizard to use a certain method of positioning or aligning by setting a number of options. On the other hand you can use the mouse or cursor keys to position the individual stamps on any location on the page. The layout you get by using the latter method can then be aligned by using the Align Wizard. This process will be explained in the next paragraphs.
In the examples we will design a page for Victoria, one of the old states of Australia. The reason for this choice is simple: not all suppliers of stamp albums produce pages for these states. Usually an album of Australia starts from the unification (“The Commonwealth of Australia”). With Stamp Album Studio you will be able to produce the pages of the older ages yourself.
